Rainy day play date

We have been enjoying our first week home.  We have the chore charts up and the older kids are working away :-)  They have been very good sports about it, so that is nice.  Not to mention, it is helping me a lot!  Avery is helping with dishes, sweeping, laundry, etc.  And Ethan is helping more with the outside stuff and with the girls.  I appreciate it a lot!

We did have a few fun playdates this week already too.  Wednesday I hosted the coffee group that I normally get together with.  We had planned to go to the local park but, because it was chilly, we came to my house.  I invtied a few more friends and their kids too and 5 adults and 17 kids later, we had a great time!

We also met one of my best friends, Kristin, and her her 3 girls at a local Space Aliens.  We ate, played games and then headed over to the mall to play in their indoor play area since it was raining all day!  We hit space aliens yet again when it was "Kids eat free" day and all 5 of us (Mike was at work) ate for just 9.11 (not including the tip).  We almost felt like we were stealing, it was such a good deal!

Olivia and Izzie are inseperable!  Mostly because Izzie will not allow Olivia to be away from her.  It really is so sweet.  Here she wouldn't even sit in her own chair to have snack, she had to share a seat with Olivia.  Olivia is a good sport about it, so that helps.

Of course she would sit IN the sand water table to play instead of stand next to it :-)  Ohhh Izzie, she keeps us all on our toes and brings so much excitement to our lives!
