Easter weekend and the kids spring break was very nice. We spent the week before Easter coloring eggs, reading books about Easter, etc. It was fun to do those "traditional" things with the kids! Good Friday we went to Mass and then to my parents house for our annual fish fry. All of of my siblings and their spouses come with their kids and we all stay at my Mom and Dad's. We had a great time and the weather was perfect. Saturday we did the annual Easter egg hunt and then had our Easter celebration meal in the afternoon. It was so nice to relax with the family and let the kids play and enjoy the wonderful weather. The celebrations continued on Easter Sunday with Mike's family. We went to Mass and then headed to Greg and Kay's for the day. Another wonderful time with family with perfect weather. We spent most of the day on their deck watching the girls jump on the trampoline and all the boys play baseball.
The kids have had a few days off school so we have had a few playdates, went to St.Cloud to do some spring shopping and have lunch with Dad, etc. It was nice to have them around for a few days. Ethan even changed Izzie's diaper and got her all dressed for the day today. It is nice that Ethan and Avery help so much with the little kids and the housework.
We are all doing well and have been spending as much time outside as we can. I think I was at the park with the girls every day last week, I hope it only gets warmer!
