Enjoying Spring so far

What wonderful weather we have had the last few days.  The wind finally died down a little and you can just sit outside and relax, we love it!  We have been spending a lot of time outside, at the park, playing catch, riding bikes, etc.  I struggle with this time of year because we are outside so much and things don't get done in the house, but I know these days don't last.  Soon it will be SO HOT that we won't want to be outside.

We haven't been up to too much - Mike went looking at land to possibly hunt on, I went to a shower and bachelorette party for a close friend, we have had a few play dates, attended a benefit for our neighbor, had a couple get togethers with close friends and most recently participated in the Earth Day Events.  Ethan and Avery did the 1K run and I did the half marathon.  The weather was perfect for both events.  The kids had a blast and although I wouldn't say I had a blast, the race went well and I am happy to be done with it.  I think I might stick with some shorter races for a while now.  I might even try a mini triathalon this summer.

We have the sprinklers ready for the lawn, a few things planted in the garden and all the spring/summer toys out and ready to go.  I really hope spring is here to stay!  It would be so heart-breaking if we would get some snow now.

This weekend I am going to Arizona with four great girlfriends!  We leave friday and come back on Tuesday.  I can't wait.  We wanted to go on a trip when we all turned 30 and now this year we will turn 32 but close enough.  Mike will be holding down the fort with the kids. I have some friends helping out with the little girls too so they should be just fine while I am gone.

Hope you all are enjoying your spring!

Goofy Izzie and Olivia this morning

This is what the girls came out of their room with the other day - they are so funny!

Can't you find Izzie? It is like playing Where's Waldo in our garage.  She loves sitting in the purple jogging stroller.  I think we need to organize a little
