A few weekends ago the guys were gone on a fishing trip and the girls hung out at Auntie Debba's house for a jewlery party. All of us sisters and my mom where there with our kids and we had a great time. We just chatted, ate, had a few drinks and the kids played amazingly well the whole time we were there.
Ethan had his last hockey practice this week and has his last tournament this weekend. He loves it so much and is not looking forward to it ending. But before he knows it, he will be getting his baseball and glove out and it will be on to the next sport. I am going on one of my annual scrapbooking weekends with a bunch of girlfriends this weekend so I will have to miss his last games, so I am bummed about that. The girls are doing well now after being sick along with me over the weekend. We are getting out and enjoying the nice weather as much as we can, and they love that. Avey has been so much help lately. She is like a little mother to the little girls and they LOVE her!
On Sunday we had a nice family day since we were finally all feeling well enough to leave the house. We went to mass back in my hometown as one of my classmates just recently became a Priest. He said the mass and did great, we are so proud of him! After mass, we went to my mom's for lunch and then we put the little girls down for a nap at her house. Ethan, Avery, Mike and I headed back to town to go sledding down their big hill. It was so much fun! The weather was perfect and the kids had a blast! After sledding we went to the local ice skating rink and Ethan and Mike played a little hockey and I helped Avery figure skate for the first time. She was so excited and did very well. I have lots of pictures and videos below. Once the girls woke up I went and got them at my Mom's and brought them up to the rink and they skated as well. Olivia was on ice skates and Izzie just in her boots. Olivia was so so excited! Even though I was holding on to her, she would say "Look Mom, I am doing it all by myself!" It was so cute! We all had a wonderful time and of course had some sad faces when it was time to go home.
Hope you are all well. Enjoy the pictures from our winter day of fun!
