We had a great week of Christmas traditions. We put up the tree and decorated it as a family. Saturday we baked and decorated Christmas cookies and on Sunday we had a visit from St. Nick. The kids did great with all of it. I have always been big on holilday traditions and I hope to instill that in my children as well. I think it is so much fun to look forward to doing all those things together as a family. Mike thinks I get more excited about it than the kids, and I probably do :-) Oh and my sister came over to take some family pictures. They went "ok" - I think out of the 70 pictures we have about 3 or 4 that we could use. I did use 2 for our Christmas card. It is a hard job getting all 4 kids to look and smile at one time!
Avery spent saturday with Grandma Sally making even more cookies and Mike and Ethan were getting ready to go to the SCSU Hockey game so while the little girls napped I got all of my scrapbook stuff together for my big scrapbooking weekend coming up this weekend. I plan to start on Izzie's book and hope to get her caught up to Oct - we will see how I do.
The kids did very well with St. Nick! I thought for sure Olivia would cry but she just gave him the many scowl faces that she makes. It made for some great pictures! She did give him a hug at the end, so that was cute.
This week is super busy with something going on each night but it should make the week go fast and my scrapbooking come sooner!
Take Care
