Busy, Busy and Christmas Too!

Wow - we had a whirlwind week! We had something going on almost every day and every night, but we survived! We ended the week with some family time and the Bueckers' Family Christmas. My whole family was home, so it was lots of food, drink, gifts and kids all over but it was a great time.

We have have been busy at home getting ready for Christmas. Most of the gifts are wrapped and the kids are anxiously awaiting Santa's arrival. We will celebrate Christmas Eve here at home, and then spend Christmas Day with Mike's family. It is so nice to not have to rush off going to more than one place for the holidays.

On a sad note, we attended a wake and funeral this week for an extended family member. It was a tragic accident to a young person, which makes it all the harder to understand. It does make you truly thankful for everything you have in life though! We are so grateful to have 4 happy, healthy kids as well as our health and wonderful family and friends!
