Weekend of visiting

We had a nice long weekend, as I am sure many of you did. We spend most of the weekend visiting family and friends.

Friday morning, Grandma Joni stopped over in the morning to give Avery her birthday gift. In the afternoon, we went to visit Cory and Erica and stayed there all day and overnight.

Saturday, we got home and re-packed the van and went to Maple Grove to visit Kristin Beeler and the girls (Cora and Ella). We hung out with the kids as our husbands were hunting all weekend. We had a very nice visit with them. We took all the kids to an apple orchard/pumpkin patch, made halloween cup cakes, tried to make halloween necklaces and spent some time outside and just hanging out in their new finished basement.

Sunday, we went to church with Kristin and the girls, ate lunch and headed for home around 2:00. It was a busy weekend again, but the kids had fun with all their playmates, which is the most important part.
