First Wednesday off & Happy Birthday Avery!

Yesterday was my first Wednesday off and we enjoyed it to the fullest. As I explain the day though, it will hardly sound like time off, it was more time spent running around.

We cuddled in the morning on the couch, had breakfast, then it was off to freeport to bring Ethan to school. When I returned, I started on the 8 loads of laundry, cleaned up after breakfast, fed Olivia, and played with the girls a little. Then it was time for lunch. We had lunch, Avery colored for a while as Olivia napped and I showered. Then, it was time for Avery to go to preschool. So, it was off to freeport again to bring her to preschol.

When Olivia and I got home, I finished getting ready and then we went to visit a friend of ours that had a baby a few weeks ago. We visited until 3:00, when it was time to pick both Ethan and Avery up from school. You guessed it - another trip to freeport to pick them up and then finally we were home. But, not for long....

We left the house again about 4:00 to go pick Grandma up and head to St. Cloud to Space Aliens to celebrate Avery's birthday. We had a great time there. The kids played games, we ate, opened presents and ended the evening with cupcakes and singing happy birthday.

After Space Aliens, we had to stop at Target to pick up a few things, drop Grandma off on the way home and then finally arrived at our home around 8:30 p.m. WHAT A DAY!!

Even though it was a busy day, we had a great time.
