Olivia started cereal last week! She has done really well and hardly ever makes the "get this stuff out of my mouth" face. She seems to be ready for it and opens her mouth when the spoon is near. We still have to give her a bottle chaser with almost each spoonful but I think she will get used to it in the next few days. I am sure it is hard for little ones to get used to the new texture when they have only had formula or milk for so long.
Avery also has something new - a new haircut!!! We are in the process of growing out her bangs, so we took a few inches off her hair to try to even them out a little. She also has school pictures today, so she will have a whole new look for that. It is also much easier for Dad to do in the morning when it is short, so he appreciates that.
Other than the cereal and new haircut, not too much else is new. Mike has been hunting a few times, but so far no luck. I am trying to keep up with the house since going back to work, and that seems to be manageable. This weekend I am scrapbooking, so it will feel great to get a little more caught up with that.
School, work, daycare, etc. - the schedule seems to be going well and we are enjoying life as much as we can. Next week, I will start having wednesdays off. I am sure that will help balance things out a little more. We are all looking forward to that!
