I am now an IRON GIRL!

Kristin and I participated in the Athleta Iron Girl over the weekend.  We signed up a long time ago and neither of us trained for it like we had hoped, but it was a great experience and a PERFECT day for the race.  Besides the early wake up time, the weather was perfect and the race - 2 mile run, 22 mile bike and then another 2 mile run, went very well!  We did the race together so we cheered each other on and stuck by each other as much as we could.  Hopefully we can make it work to do it next year as well.

 So happy the family was there to cheer us on!  It was early for them, but they did a great job!  And I really appreciated it.
