Remembering these days

A friend of mine recently posted a picture of an ear imprint on her arm that one of her twins had left on her.  What a cool thing to remember - holding you child so long they leave an ear imprint!  Although remember Izzie these days isn't as "cute", it is still something I want to remember.

Izzie has been doing her usual shenanigans and lately one of her favorite things to do is pick out her clothes - often wearing clothes that are too big and for many days straight.  She is VERY determined to wear them and most of the time I don't fight back anymore.  I have tried to put them in the laundry and she finds them right back.  She is SO HAPPY when I let her wear what she wants.  And, if we aren't going anywhere where I want her to look presentable, the joy in her face isn't worth fighting.  For a while she wanted to wear her boots, hat and mittens in the house too.  As a result of her changing her clothes so much, I had to rubberband their closet shut so that she could only pick from their dress up clothes and sweatpants, otherwise I would have a huge job of putting things back on hangers, etc.  She takes it all off and on all by herself and she is so proud, I can't rain on her parade too much.

Here she is hat, mittens, shirt on backwards, day 2 of her sweatpants and loving every minute of it!
Nex day - same story.  Love her so much!  As Olivia would say, "I just want to squeeze Izzie."
