Sweet moments

Just thought I would share a few sweet moments from the end of summer. I can't believe we are starting a new school year already.  A 3rd grader, 1st grader and one pre-schooler!  Wow, time flies!  They are very excited and happy to start and I am happy to get back into a routine and schedule, even though it means I have to get up early again :-(

Mike and Ethan were playing catch in the backyard and the 2 little girls grabbed their red chairs and started watching and cheering - precious!

The three girls cuddling on Mom and Dad's bed watching some TV before bed.  Why is is always so much more fun in Mom and Dad's bed?

Avery and Olivia played for the longest time sitting on TOP of the garbage bin.  Not sure why, but it made for a cute picture.

The girls LOVE books and I caught Olivia reading one of their favorites to Izzie.  She has the book almost memorized.  Izzie was even resting her head on her shoulder for part of it.

It's harvest time!  Mike is holding some of our awesome carrots!  We got around 25 to 30 pints already of canned carrots with just one row!

Poor Izzie!  The mosquitos just love her and she LOVES to scratch the bites until they bleed. The only way we could keep her from scratching them was to put bandaids on them.  She looks a little rough here with all her bandages and a few new bites on her face too :-(
