Back to school

The kids had a great first week back at school!  We have a different busing situation this year so I will probably be bringing them in and picking them up more but at least the option to take the bus is still there.  The early to bed and early morning wake up time has been going really well, a lot better than I thought so that makes the mornings go smooth.  The girls and I are enjoying our time at home doing some more preschool type activities.  I have also started some really deep fall cleaning, going through the house inch by inch cleaning, organizing and getting rid of stuff.  Hopefully it doesn't take me too long!

The little girls had some fun of their own while the big kids were at school.  Iz is pretending to be the baby in her baby stroller.

Olivia started pre-school this week and LOVES it!  She came home the first morning and asked if she can go every day, all day!  Izzie and I had a great time at home together spending some one on one time together.  I honestly don't know if we have ever been alone just the two of us since she was an infant.  We both just soaked it up!  She is at a great age to do so many fun things together during those few hours we have together.
All ready for preschool - what a big girl already!

Saying goodbye to Izzie

Izzie with her cute haircut and enjoying all the time to herself!

Izzie was in HEAVEN when I let her play with all of Avery's puppy in my pocket and jungle in my pocket animals and accessories. She just giggled while she was playing, it was so cute!

Other than the new school routine, we haven't been up to much.  I went on a scrapbooking weekend last weekend and completed around 60 pages!  I am caught up to Dec 09 in all the kids books so not too far behind.  Mike and Ethan are going on a little hunting trip this weekend and then Mike will more than likely be gone the 3 weekends after that too for hunting.  It may sound like a lot but we all know it comes with this time of year and I get away for my scrapbooking too so I can't complain.  We just plan to go visit friends and family and host playdates when he is gone to help pass the time.

Happy Fall!

  1. I love how you have such a positive attitude and you and your husband are supportive of each other. What a wonderful thing going through your house for fall cleaning everything out. It is going to be SO worth it!
That is great you are getting some one on one time in. My daughter and I are doing the same while my son is at preschool and I love it! Have a great week :)
