Nat'l Night Out

We attended our first National Night Out this year.  I am not sure why we haven't gone in the past but I know now that we will continue to go for the years to come.  The kids had a blast with all the the rescue vehicles, going in the boom truck, trying on the fireman's gear, etc.  They are all very interested in how things worked, when you use each vehicle, etc.  It was a great learning experience for them.

Izzie is in the back seat of the police car on one of these pictures and I think it might be a futuristic view of what is to come for her - :-)

I am competing in my first Triathlon tomorrow, wish me luck!
