Turning 30 wasn't so bad as I got to spend the whole weekend away with Mike as well as see all my close friends and spend a fabulous night out with my family! Friday night we had a suprise birthday party for one of my best friends, Kristin. We had a great time there and ended up staying up until 4:00 learning how to play the card game 500. I tell you, after a few drinks, it is so hard to remember the rules and pay attention :-)
Saturday Mike and I did some christmas shopping then my whole family sans kids, went to Gustof's to eat and then we hit a few bars after. It was SO MUCH FUN! I would highly recommend it for family or friend get togethers. The atmosphere, music and food was all very good.
We have lots going on this week but it will be great to see friends and family again. It makes me realize how much I have to be thankful for! I couldn't ask for better friends or family! We are so lucky to have so many people in this world that love and care for us.
