We had a wonderful first week of July! We spent most of last week at a friend's cabin and my sister's cabin. It started last Tuesday when we went up to my friend, Michelle's, cabin until Wednesday afternoon. The weather was perfect while we were there so we spent a lot of time out on the lake and just letting the kids enjoy the weather. The little catapillars that lived at her cabin were a big hit. I have a picture of Avery with one of her's below.
Wednesday we came home and unpacked and then re-packed up again to leave for my sister's cabin on Thursday morning. We spent the whole weekend at their cabin! The kids had a blast; swimming, going on boat rides, playing bean bag toss, sleeping in the tent, doing some of their own sparklers, etc. Olivia was a little crabby over the weekend as she didn't nap well and I think she may be getting some more teeth. I can't really blame her though, we were gone from her "home" for 6 days straight and for a toddler that was probably a lot to take in. Overall she did well though. The weather was sunny and hot the whole time we were at the cabin. The guys got to golf a few times (even Ethan golfed once- he loves it!) and I got a book finished and lots of magazines read.
I also had a doctor appointment last week and not much has changed. I am still 50% effaced and dilated to between a 1 and 2. I am feeling good yet - just a little exhausted from the weekend. I have another appointment this week so we will see what that brings. We do have an induction date set already so I know the end is in sight if I do not go before that. I have been induced with all the kids so I feel most comfortable with that process.
Olivia is walking more and more each day. She still does her power fast crawl when she really needs to get somewhere but I think it is the cutiest thing to watch her walk and wobble from side to side! Ethan and Avery have been great helping me get ready for the new baby and helping out with Olivia. They are very excited for Dad to be home with us for almost 3 weeks when the new arrival comes - Mom can't wait either!
