Olivia turns 1!!

We had a wonderful long weekend! Mike took friday off too so we had 4 days at home together. Friday night the kids got to go camping with their cousins and Mike and I stayed out at the camp site for a bit too. Saturday morning we got to sleep in since E and A were still camping and Olivia slept until 9:45 a.m. - yes 9:45. Not sure why she blessed us with that gift but it was sure great. I slept until 8:00 and then did some cleaning, so it worked out great. The rest of saturday we spent cleaning out the garage. At night we decided to treat the kids to pizza and bowling. We all had a great time but it was a little exhausting for Mike and I to take turns with Olivia. She kept wanting to crawl down the alleys. She was having so much fun and it wasn't too busy so we let her a little.

Sunday was Olivia's 1st Birthday! I really cannot believe she is 1 already! It seems like yesterday that we just brought her home from the hospital. We had Cory, Erica and their kids over for dinner, a bonfire and birthday brownie's and then the men and kids (except Olivia) slept in the tent outside overnight. They all had a great time. Of course they all slept until 9:00 and Olivia was awake bright and early at 6:30 a.m. What happened to 9:45??

Olivia did have a pretty eventful birthday though; she feel off the rocking chair, fell off the soft Dora chair and bit Ethan's lip! (we think she was trying to give him a kiss but then just bit down - he still has a mark!!) She also had pop for the first time as she learned how to suck from the straw - she loved that!!

Today, we got plenty of resting in and just got things ready for the week.

This week is the start of baseball for Ethan and Avery as well as their last week of school. This weekend we will be celebrating Olivia's birthday with a big party!
