Family Earth Day Tradition

We have been participating in the Earth Day runs together as a family for 4 or 5 years now.  I LOVE that the kids are excited about fitness and really see how FUN it can be.  This year the little girls did the 1K, Avery did the 5K (and I ran with her) and Ethan also ran the 5K.  We took in the BLEND expo before the runs to play too. It was a little chilly and it had actually snowed a lot the day before, but the roads were clear and the sun was shining so it turned out to be a great run!

 My Friend, Amanda Maus, ran the 5K with us.  She did a great job.  Her daughter, Addison, is Olivia's best friend!  And she is Olivia's kindergarten teacher too.
