A Wonderful Family Weekend in Duluth

We had a wonderful time away in Duluth for labor day weekend.  It was just the 6 of us Saturday until Monday.  We stayed at the Sprit Mountain Villas and took in all the main duluth tourist attractions.  The weather was pefect, the kids had fun and are at ages where they can go all day and not need naps, etc.  We will remember this vacation always!

First stop was Little Angie's Cantina and grill right in Canal Park for lunch.

Next stop was Canal Park and climbing on the rocks - the highlight of the weekend for the kids.

3rd Stop was Park Point Beach.  It was a little cool but we still played in the sand and just enjoyed the nice afternoon.

Sunday Morning we went to church and then made our way to Gooseberry Falls.  It was a perfect day for it.  The kids loved seeing the falls and climbing on everything again.



Next on the agenda was Splitrock Lighthouse.  We went on an informational tour and then walked around ourselves too. What a beautiful landmark!

Monday, before we left, we made sure to get a ride on the Alpine Coaster and Zip line at Spirit Mountain.  So much fun!!
