Day of baking

A friend of mine had posted on facebook last weekend that it was National Cook/Bake with your kids day, so the girls and I had fun baking a cake and cookies.  Our best part - eating the chocolate chip cookie dough!  I have to say I am not a huge fan of baking but the girls really like it and it was something fun for us to do together.  I am a sucker for traditions and spending QT together, so I have a feeling we will be baking a lot more!
