School Skiing Field Trip

Mike and I both signed up to go with Ethan and the rest of the 3rd - 6th graders from school to go on their annual skiing trip.  We had an absolute BLAST!  The weather was perfect - sunny, about 20 degreees and just a little wind.  I couldn't believe how many times all of the kids went down the slopes.  It was fun to watch Ethan go down the hills and try new things, etc.  He has really become quite the dare devil.  He went down all the black diamond hills and even tried a few jumps!  I stuck to the green and blue slopes. I was more afraid of hurting myself for running and biking that I didn't want to risk it. It was almost a date for Mike and I too because Ethan was so confident and always went off on his own or with his friends, so Mike and I got to spend a lot of good, quality time together doing something that we both love - being active outdoors!  We will definitely be doing this each year if we can.  And with Izzie just starting preschool next year, we have MANY years to have the opportunity.

The kids learning how to start, stop, turn, etc.
