Meeting Santa!

The kids were SO EXCITED to see Santa this year.  We had to make a few trips though to actually see him.  The first trip we made was to St.Cloud to see the Hospital lighting and they had horse drawn wagon rides, real reindeer, a live nativity, goodies, etc.  It was a very cold night and we got there a little late so we missed the lighting, but the rest of the activities were great - well except the fact that Santa left early :-(  Mrs. Claus was there though so the kids weren't too disappointed.  The nativity scene was great! 

This past weekend we went again to see Santa, and this time it was a success.  The girls were so excited - A LOT different from last year.  Both Olivia and Izzie were all smiles and giddy to sit on his lap.  They love everything about christmas - the goodies, lights, santa, cookies, watching Christmas movies, etc.  It has been so much fun!  One of our Advent activities is to make Jesus a birthday cake and Avery is most excited for that one.  Here is the link to the activity calendar that we are using.  It is our first year doing this but it has now become one of our tradions!

 We have been doing an activity almost each day (following an Advent activity calendar ) and over the weekend we had "At home pedicure" night!  The girls had a blast!
