Fun playdate with friends

Two of my best friends came to visit last weekend with their kids and we had a wonderful playdate at our house.  The kids played great, slept great and us girls got some chat time in as well.  The weather was perfect so we walked up to the park, went to the local Fire Department where they were having an open house and just enjoyed each others company.

The jumping pit was a BIG hit!  Then we settled down with a movie and some popcorn.

In the morning it was off to the park!  We tried lining all the kids up before we left (see above).  Most were looking, that is about as good as we could get it.  They all had fun at the park!  Izzie, the daredevil, likes to climb on everything and do everything herself so I was running all over trying to make sure she didn't break any bones from falling!

And lastly, we visited the Melrose Fire Station open house.  We could go in all the vehicles, watch a fire demonstration, jump in the big jumping tent and then enjoy a free meal.  It was the perfect thing to do for our playdate!
