Catching up

We have been busy, busy, busy but it is all our own fault so I am not complaining.  It seems to be easier if we are running around visiting, going to the library, going to playdates, the beach, splashpads, etc.  Even though I am getting sick of the packing and unpacking, the kids are having a blast and we are enjoying the summer as much as we can.

In the last few weeks we attended the library activities, went to a splash park twice, went to the beach, had a couple playdates, stayed at my sister's house for a few days, attended the kids' sports, had our niece spend a few days with us, etc.  No wonder the weeks just fly by!  The summer is going by so fast though and the kids are growing up right before our eyes.  These are the times we HAVE to enjoy.  Our baby, Izzie, is going to be two next week and it makes me so sad!  These past two years have done by in a blink of an eye!

Here are some pics of our recent adventures:

The kids enjoying the splash park.  The one of Izzie and Olivia holding hands is so precious!

Haley came to visit!  She stayed with us for a couple days and went with us to my sister's.
Fun at the splash park
The Novotny girls and Avery, Haley and Ethan.  The little girls were sleeping.
Who would have guessed a half hour before this picture he only had half of his front tooth.  He chipped it on a cement wall the saturday at Mike's parents wrestling with his cousins.  The dentist did a great job!
Uncle Bob and Paige came to visit a few weekends ago too, we missed him and P!  We always have so much fun when he is around.  And who else would throw our girls on the couch?
We made Kabobs for the first time and they turned out great!  Don't they look delicious!  They say to eat the colors of the rainbow, and I think we did a pretty good job!
