She slept in her big bed last night for the first time and I think that helped keep her mind off her nuk. She didn't even cry when we put her down. Although, she did get out of her bed a few times and we peeked in and saw her on the floor looking at books. After putting her back into her bed 3 times, she stayed and fell sleep. I am sure it will take a good week or so for her to completely get used to it but so far so good. I did wake up last night to her crying and found her under the bed. She must have fallen out and then couldn't see and slid under the bed. I totally forgot to put the fence type thing on the edge of her bed to hold her in, so that is up now to hopefully prevent that from happening again - opps!
Izzie and Olivia share a room so I am sure we will hear them play and talk a little when they go to bed but there isn't much we can do about that. As long as they go to sleep fairly soon and sleep all night I am ok with them talking for a bit. Izzie LOVES to be in a bed like Olivia. She has really been attached to her lately. She wants to do what she does, be where she is, etc. It is really cute to see their relationship grow.
Izzie is also starting to talk a lot more too. I don't know if it had anything to do with her not having her nuk as much or just the fact that she is getting closer to two. It seems in the last week she began saying a lot more. Either way, it is so cute to hear her put words together and understand more.
Izzie LOVING her new bed! Thanks Auntie D and Brian for the bed and headboard. It is working out great!
Maybe she does miss her crib??! She is trying to fit in the one for her babies!
