Busy Izzie

This post is dedicated to our "BUSY" Izzie. She takes up a lot of our time, so I thought a whole post would do her justice.

She is such a fun little girl, but ohhh does she know how to push the buttons. Lately she has been hitting, biting and telling us "NO" a lot. She just turned 18 months old today, but she sure acts like a 3 year old sometimes. The worst part is that she knows exactly what she is doing, and she gives you this little sly smirk when she is doing something wrong, then smiles, and runs away from you. It is so hard not to laugh with her! All of the discipline that I have used in the past on the other kids hasn't worked. I know she may be a little young to completely get it when I am disciplining her, but I feel I need to do something. She is talking a lot more and gets smarter each day, which isn't going to help the situation I am afraid. The nice thing is that Olivia has become very good at telling on her, so if I am not there to see it, Olivia comes running to tell me! She does things that none of the other kids have done; climbs on TOP of the table, plays dangerously on the steps, tries to play in the toilet, climbs up the bunk beds, puts things in her mouth, etc. You can't leave this girl for a second!
I am sure this phase will pass and we will be on to the next. I am happy to be here to share each BUSY day with her, but I will be happy when she is a little less mischievous!

Here are some posts of our funny Izzie:

Here she climbed up the chair and is playing with Olivia's puzzles

Reading the "No Biting" book - very appropriate for her right now.

Picking out her toe jam - too funny!

Saying cheese goofy

Again, on top of the desk, reading books with Olivia

Tring to climb under the chair
Mike won some SCSU Hockey tickets at work last week so we took the older kids to the game and had a great time!
Avery wanted to get as many puzzles done in one night she could - I think she did a great job!

And lastly, here is a video of Izzie saying what a Kitty says. I just love how she squints her eyes!
