Back to the schedule

We had a wonderful first week of school! It is still a bit hard getting the kids up in the morning, but everyone is sleeping by 8:15/8:30 each night. Mike and I have been enjoying the early bed times - we can either get a lot done, spend time together, or just sit and watch T.V. and do nothing! I am really enjoying the new schedule. It makes it easier on us as parents and easier on the kids too as they know what to expect. I am even trying to kind of keep a schedule with the little girls too so we can get everything in during the day that we want to do.

We had a nice labor day weekend. I spent some time with the kids at a few parks, visiting a close friend that had a baby and also stopping by my sister's for a bonfire and some smores. Mike was gone getting some things ready for fall bow hunting. He was home on sunday though and we had a family BBQ at his cousins house and it was a lot of fun. The weather was just perfect all weekend.

Kids are all doing well - not much new to report there. Ethan and Mike are going to a hockey meeting tonight as we are going to sign Ethan up this year. I am excited to watch him and he is excited to play!
