Olivia is 8 months old today!!I can't believe how fast the time has gone. She has been a joy to have around the house; laughing, babbling (saying Mama and Dada now) and just always showing us her big smile. She loves to dance lately too, so we have been having High School Muscial dance parties at night. She is still close to crawling but hasn't taken off yet. She gets on all 4's and rocks a little but then ends up doing a face plant into the carpet :-( Sooner or later it will happen and I am happy to wait. Not sure we are ready for her to be about the entire house!
Since it has been so cold out the last few weeks, we really haven't been doing too much. Last weekend we stayed in all weekend and just did stuff around the house. We had some friends and their kids over for dinner on friday night. On saturday Ethan had basketball again and then we watched our niece and nephews at night. Sunday was church and football and some shopping for mom! I found some great deals at Old Navy and Children's Place. You gotta love 50% off clearance prices. I think you lose money if you don't buy something :-) Or that is what I tell myself.
Who says you can't get creative with playing when it is this cold out. Last night we warmed up the garage and played basketball and the kids raced around on their scooters. You will notice they have helmets on too - Ethan had to add that accessory. He says when you are racing you have to wear helmets and I wasn't going to argue as it made for great pictures!
I also added a few more pictures of Olivia and one of the girls as they were reading books together this week.
