The Van Beck house has been busy the last few weekends getting things ready for Christmas. Last weekend I did some shopping and this week was decorating the house, the tree and finishing the x-mas lights outside.
We had a very nice FAMILY weekend at home. Friday night we ran some errands with the kids and went out to eat. Saturday we put up the tree and decorated it while listening to Christmas music. Saturday night Mike took the 2 older kids outside for sled rides in the new 6 + inches of snow we got. The kids had a great time! The night ended with a movie and everyone sleeping by 9:30, including Mike and I!
Sunday, we went to church and then to one of Mike's brother's house for the annual St. Nick day. It was Olivia's first time meeting Santa. She didn't get scared or cry, so it went well. The kids went over their lists with Santa and even got a little present.
