Without our Daddy!

With all this hunting, the kids and I spend lots of time without "daddy", but we seem to manage. The kids normally do really well when Mike is gone, so I hope that keeps up. Mike was hunting around home last weekend and hit a really nice buck but didn't kill it so he is devistated!! He left for an out of state trip today though, so we wish him luck there! He plans to be there until Sunday or Monday but we hope he gets one right away so he can come home!

Last weekend the kids and I went to friend's cabin with her kids and another girlfriend and her kids. We had a great time. We even ended the trip with a stop at Sauk Centre to see The Bee Movie. The movie was cute and good for kids and adults. Sunday was spent doing the usual - church, laundry, dishes, cleaning, going through backpacks, etc. We got a nice surprise though when Mike returned home at about 3:30 from hunting. We didn't expect him until about 7:00.

This weekend we don't have much planned, so it will be nice to stay home and catch up. The Keefe kids will be over for some of the weekend. It will be nice for the cousins to see and play with each other. I would also like to get some scrapbooking done. We will see how that goes with 6 to 7 kids at the house :-)
